Our most recent project is brand-new construction: a light-filled coastal modern home along a tree-lined street that is part of the historical town of Cape Charles. With the rarity of a new build within the historic town, we designed the home with elegance and highly crafted details. The exterior and scale relate to historic homes, but the interior creates a modern living space: designed with an open first floor that centers on a designer gourmet kitchen, with a full bedroom and bathroom on the first floor, and a primary and two additional bedrooms on the second level. It is built with CertainTeed's One Precision Assembly system, a Bosch mechanical system with ERV ventilation, and an encapsulated crawl space. This highly efficient construction creates lasting comfort, cleaner air, and lower operating costs, while the design feels timeless, elegant and comfortable.
